According to data from the US BLS, the unemployment rate of Alaska was 6.6% (sa) in July, 2016. Among all Alaska counties, these 3 were among those with high unemployment rates (nsa): Kusilvak (23.4%), Yukon-Koyukuk (16.5%), and Northwest Arctic (15.7%).

On the hand, the following three counties were among those with low unemployment rates (nsa): Bristol Bay (1.7%), Aleutians East (1.8%), and Aleutians West (2.5%).
