According to data from the US BLS, the unemployment rate of Alaska was 6.6% (sa) in June, 2016. Among all Alaska counties, these 3 were among those with high unemployment rates (nsa): Kusilvak (23.8%), Yukon-Koyukuk (18.7%), and Northwest Arctic (16.8%).

On the hand, the following three counties were among those with low unemployment rates (nsa): Aleutians East (2.9%), Aleutians West (3.4%), and Skagway (3.8%).
