According to data from the US BLS, the unemployment rate of Alaska was 6.6% (sa) in May, 2016. Among all Alaska counties, these 3 were among those with high unemployment rates (nsa): Kusilvak (20.9%), Yukon-Koyukuk (15.7%), and Northwest Arctic (15.5%).

On the hand, the following three counties were among those with low unemployment rates (nsa): Denali (3.9%), Skagway (4%), and North Slope (4%).
