According to data from the US BLS, the unemployment rate of Alaska was 6.6% (sa) in May, 2016. Among all Alaska counties, these 3 were among those with high unemployment rates (nsa): Kusilvak (21.4%), Yukon-Koyukuk (16.6%), and Northwest Arctic (16.1%).

On the hand, the following three counties were among those with low unemployment rates (nsa): Juneau (3.9%), Sitka (4.2%), and Skagway (4.5%).
