According to data from the US BLS, the unemployment rate of Alaska was 6.7% (sa) in October, 2016. Among all Alaska counties, these 3 were among those with high unemployment rates (nsa): Kusilvak (18.1%), Yukon-Koyukuk (15.4%), and Northwest Arctic (15.2%).

On the hand, the following three counties were among those with low unemployment rates (nsa): Aleutians East (2.3%), Aleutians West (3.5%), and Sitka (4.1%).
