According to data from the US BLS, the unemployment rate of Alaska was 6.6% (sa) in August, 2017. Among all Alaska counties, these 3 were among those with high unemployment rates (nsa): Kusilvak (17.5%), Northwest Arctic (15.2%), and Yukon-Koyukuk (14.6%).

On the hand, the following three counties were among those with low unemployment rates (nsa): Aleutians East (1.6%), Skagway (2.2%), and Denali (2.5%).
