According to data from the US BLS, the unemployment rate of Alaska was 6.4% (sa) in December, 2017. Among all Alaska counties, these 3 were among those with high unemployment rates (nsa): Skagway (19.3%), Kusilvak (17.5%), and Hoonah-Angoon (16.7%).

On the hand, the following three counties were among those with low unemployment rates (nsa): Sitka (4.4%), Juneau (4.5%), and Aleutians West (5%).
