According to data from the US BLS, the unemployment rate of Alaska was 6.5% (sa) in July, 2017. Among all Alaska counties, these 3 were among those with high unemployment rates (nsa): Kusilvak (22.1%), Yukon-Koyukuk (16.6%), and Northwest Arctic (16.5%).

On the hand, the following three counties were among those with low unemployment rates (nsa): Bristol Bay (1.4%), Aleutians East (1.6%), and Aleutians West (2.8%).
