According to data from the US BLS, the unemployment rate of Alaska was 6.5% (sa) in June, 2017. Among all Alaska counties, these 3 were among those with high unemployment rates (nsa): Kusilvak (20.4%), Northwest Arctic (17.3%), and Yukon-Koyukuk (16.5%).

On the hand, the following three counties were among those with low unemployment rates (nsa): Aleutians East (2.5%), Bristol Bay (3%), and Skagway (3.1%).
