According to data from the US BLS, the unemployment rate of Alaska was 6.5% (sa) in October, 2017. Among all Alaska counties, these 3 were among those with high unemployment rates (nsa): Kusilvak (16.2%), Yukon-Koyukuk (13.6%), and Northwest Arctic (12.9%).

On the hand, the following three counties were among those with low unemployment rates (nsa): Aleutians East (2.2%), Sitka (4%), and Juneau (4%).
