According to data from the US BLS, the unemployment rate of Alaska was 6.6% (sa) in September, 2017. Among all Alaska counties, these 3 were among those with high unemployment rates (nsa): Kusilvak (14.8%), Northwest Arctic (13.3%), and Yukon-Koyukuk (13%).

On the hand, the following three counties were among those with low unemployment rates (nsa): Aleutians East (2.2%), Denali (2.7%), and Skagway (3%).
