According to data from the US BLS, the unemployment rate of Alaska was 5.9% (sa) in July, 2018. Among all Alaska counties, these 3 were among those with high unemployment rates (nsa): Kusilvak (21.2%), Northwest Arctic (13.7%), and Yukon-Koyukuk (13.2%).

On the hand, the following three counties were among those with low unemployment rates (nsa): Bristol Bay (1.4%), Aleutians East (2%), and Aleutians West (2.4%).
