According to data from the US BLS, the unemployment rate of Alaska was 8.6% (sa) in August, 2020. Among all Alaska counties, these 3 were among those with high unemployment rates (nsa): Skagway (19.4%), Kusilvak (17.9%), and Haines (15.7%).

On the hand, the following three counties were among those with low unemployment rates (nsa): Aleutians East (2.2%), Aleutians West (2.5%), and North Slope (3.6%).
