According to data from the US BLS, the unemployment rate of Alaska was 7.6% (sa) in August, 2020. Among all Alaska counties, these 3 were among those with high unemployment rates (nsa): Skagway (18.4%), Kusilvak (17.1%), and Haines (11.7%).

On the hand, the following three counties were among those with low unemployment rates (nsa): Aleutians East (1.9%), Aleutians West (2.2%), and Kodiak Island (4.2%).
