According to data from the US BLS, the unemployment rate of Alaska was 8.6% (sa) in August, 2020. Among all Alaska counties, these 3 were among those with high unemployment rates (nsa): Skagway (19.9%), Kusilvak (18.7%), and Haines (12.8%).

On the hand, the following three counties were among those with low unemployment rates (nsa): Aleutians East (2.1%), Aleutians West (2.5%), and Kodiak Island (4.7%).
