According to data from the US BLS, the unemployment rate of Alaska was 7.1% (sa) in December, 2020. Among all Alaska counties, these 3 were among those with high unemployment rates (nsa): Kusilvak (18.2%), Skagway (17.9%), and Haines (15.9%).

On the hand, the following three counties were among those with low unemployment rates (nsa): North Slope (4%), Juneau (5.4%), and Fairbanks North Star (5.5%).
