According to data from the US BLS, the unemployment rate of Alaska was 11.7% (sa) in May, 2020. Among all Alaska counties, these 3 were among those with high unemployment rates (nsa): Haines (27.5%), Skagway (26.1%), and Kusilvak (23.6%).

On the hand, the following three counties were among those with low unemployment rates (nsa): North Slope (4.6%), Kodiak Island (8.6%), and Yakutat (8.7%).
