According to data from the US BLS, the unemployment rate of Alaska was 7.8% (sa) in September, 2020. Among all Alaska counties, these 3 were among those with high unemployment rates (nsa): Skagway (18.6%), Kusilvak (16.1%), and Haines (15.5%).

On the hand, the following three counties were among those with low unemployment rates (nsa): Aleutians West (2.5%), Aleutians East (2.8%), and North Slope (3.9%).
