According to data from the US BLS, the unemployment rate of Alaska was 5.4% (sa) in December, 2021. Among all Alaska counties, these 3 were among those with high unemployment rates (nsa): Kusilvak (16%), Skagway (15.7%), and Denali (10.8%).

On the hand, the following three counties were among those with low unemployment rates (nsa): Juneau (3.4%), Aleutians East (3.4%), and Sitka (3.5%).
