According to data from the US BLS, the unemployment rate of Alaska was 7.1% (sa) in January, 2021. Among all Alaska counties, these 3 were among those with high unemployment rates (nsa): Skagway (20.5%), Kusilvak (19.7%), and Denali (18.1%).

On the hand, the following three counties were among those with low unemployment rates (nsa): Aleutians East (3.6%), Juneau (5.9%), and Fairbanks North Star (6%).
