According to data from the US BLS, the unemployment rate of Alaska was 4.5% (sa) in April, 2024. Among all Alaska counties, these 3 were among those with high unemployment rates (nsa): Kusilvak (14.6%), Bethel (10.5%), and Northwest Arctic (9.3%).

On the hand, the following three counties were among those with low unemployment rates (nsa): Aleutians West (2.6%), Aleutians East (3%), and Sitka (3.2%).
