According to data from the US BLS, the unemployment rate of Alaska was 4.7% (sa) in December, 2024. Among all Alaska counties, these 3 were among those with high unemployment rates (nsa): Skagway (18.4%), Kusilvak (15.4%), and Denali (11.7%).

On the hand, the following three counties were among those with low unemployment rates (nsa): Sitka (2.8%), North Slope (2.9%), and Anchorage (3.6%).
