According to data from the US BLS, the unemployment rate of Alaska was 4.4% (sa) in February, 2024. Among all Alaska counties, these 3 were among those with high unemployment rates (nsa): Kusilvak (16.8%), Skagway (15.8%), and Haines (13.2%).

On the hand, the following three counties were among those with low unemployment rates (nsa): Aleutians West (2.3%), North Slope (3.4%), and Aleutians East (3.4%).
