According to data from the US BLS, the unemployment rate of Alaska was 4.6% (sa) in February, 2024. Among all Alaska counties, these 3 were among those with high unemployment rates (nsa): Kusilvak (17.7%), Skagway (17%), and Denali (13.9%).

On the hand, the following three counties were among those with low unemployment rates (nsa): Aleutians West (2.4%), Aleutians East (2.6%), and Sitka (4.2%).
