According to data from the US BLS, the unemployment rate of Alaska was 4.6% (sa) in January, 2024. Among all Alaska counties, these 3 were among those with high unemployment rates (nsa): Kusilvak (16.7%), Skagway (14.9%), and Denali (14.2%).

On the hand, the following three counties were among those with low unemployment rates (nsa): Aleutians East (2.8%), Aleutians West (3.7%), and Juneau (3.9%).
