According to data from the US BLS, the unemployment rate of Alaska was 4.6% (sa) in March, 2024. Among all Alaska counties, these 3 were among those with high unemployment rates (nsa): Kusilvak (15.9%), Skagway (15.2%), and Denali (12.9%).

On the hand, the following three counties were among those with low unemployment rates (nsa): Aleutians West (2.1%), Aleutians East (2.5%), and Sitka (3%).
