According to data from the US BLS, the unemployment rate of California was 5.3% (sa) in February, 2024. Among all California counties, these 3 were among those with high unemployment rates (nsa): Colusa (21%), Imperial (17.6%), and Tulare (12.6%).

On the hand, the following three counties were among those with low unemployment rates (nsa): San Mateo (3.7%), San Francisco (3.9%), and Marin (4%).
