According to data from the US BLS, the unemployment rate of Connecticut was 9% (sa) in July, 2011. Among all Connecticut counties, these 3 were among those with high unemployment rates (nsa): Windham (10.4%), New Haven (10.3%), and Hartford (9.6%).

On the hand, the following three counties were among those with low unemployment rates (nsa): Tolland (8%), Middlesex (8.1%), and Litchfield (8.4%).
