According to data from the US BLS, the unemployment rate of Connecticut was 8.3% (sa) in December, 2012. Among all Connecticut counties, these 3 were among those with high unemployment rates (nsa): Windham (9%), New Haven (8.5%), and New London (8.4%).

On the hand, the following three counties were among those with low unemployment rates (nsa): Middlesex (6.6%), Tolland (7%), and Litchfield (7.1%).
