According to data from the US BLS, the unemployment rate of Connecticut was 8.4% (sa) in July, 2012. Among all Connecticut counties, these 3 were among those with high unemployment rates (nsa): Windham (10.1%), New Haven (9.7%), and Hartford (9.2%).

On the hand, the following three counties were among those with low unemployment rates (nsa): Middlesex (7.7%), Tolland (7.9%), and Litchfield (8%).
