According to data from the US BLS, the unemployment rate of Connecticut was 6.6% (sa) in June, 2014. Among all Connecticut counties, these 3 were among those with high unemployment rates (nsa): Windham (7.8%), New Haven (7.4%), and Hartford (6.8%).

On the hand, the following three counties were among those with low unemployment rates (nsa): Middlesex (5.8%), Litchfield (5.9%), and Tolland (6.1%).
