According to data from the US BLS, the unemployment rate of Florida was 8.9% (sa) in April, 2012. Among all Florida counties, these 3 were among those with high unemployment rates (nsa): Putnam (11.2%), Hendry (11%), and St. Lucie (10.8%).

On the hand, the following three counties were among those with low unemployment rates (nsa): Lafayette (5.5%), Monroe (5.6%), and Franklin (6.4%).
