According to data from the US BLS, the unemployment rate of Florida was 9.2% (sa) in January, 2012. Among all Florida counties, these 3 were among those with high unemployment rates (nsa): Putnam (13%), Citrus (12.2%), and Hernando (12.1%).

On the hand, the following three counties were among those with low unemployment rates (nsa): Monroe (6.4%), Lafayette (6.7%), and Alachua (7.3%).
