According to data from the US BLS, the unemployment rate of Indiana was 10.6% (sa) in November, 2009. Among all Indiana counties, these 3 were among those with high unemployment rates (nsa): Elkhart (16.1%), Noble (15.8%), and LaGrange (15.4%).

On the hand, the following three counties were among those with low unemployment rates (nsa): Daviess (6%), Monroe (6.5%), and Gibson (6.8%).
