According to data from the US BLS, the unemployment rate of Indiana was 3.5% (sa) in March, 2017. Among all Indiana counties, these 3 were among those with high unemployment rates (nsa): Vermillion (5.7%), Newton (5.4%), and Lake (5.3%).

On the hand, the following three counties were among those with low unemployment rates (nsa): Elkhart (2.6%), LaGrange (2.7%), and Hamilton (2.7%).
