According to data from the US BLS, the unemployment rate of Indiana was 3.5% (sa) in January, 2024. Among all Indiana counties, these 3 were among those with high unemployment rates (nsa): Lake (5.7%), Howard (5.6%), and Vermillion (5.2%).

On the hand, the following three counties were among those with low unemployment rates (nsa): Gibson (2.8%), Daviess (2.8%), and Hamilton (2.9%).
