According to data from the US BLS, the unemployment rate of Maine was 8.3% (sa) in July, 2010. Among all Maine counties, these 3 were among those with high unemployment rates (nsa): Oxford (10.7%), Somerset (10.5%), and Piscataquis (10.3%).

On the hand, the following three counties were among those with low unemployment rates (nsa): Knox (6.4%), Sagadahoc (6.6%), and Lincoln (6.7%).
