According to data from the US BLS, the unemployment rate of Maine was 7% (sa) in February, 2013. Among all Maine counties, these 3 were among those with high unemployment rates (nsa): Washington (12.2%), Hancock (11.9%), and Somerset (10.8%).

On the hand, the following three counties were among those with low unemployment rates (nsa): Cumberland (6.2%), Sagadahoc (7%), and Kennebec (7.5%).
