According to data from the US BLS, the unemployment rate of Michigan was 3.9% (sa) in March, 2024. Among all Michigan counties, these 3 were among those with high unemployment rates (nsa): Mackinac (17.8%), Cheboygan (13.4%), and Presque Isle (10%).

On the hand, the following three counties were among those with low unemployment rates (nsa): Livingston (2.7%), Oakland (2.8%), and Ottawa (3%).
