According to data from the US BLS, the unemployment rate of Minnesota was 4.7% (sa) in February, 2004. Among all Minnesota counties, these 3 were among those with high unemployment rates (nsa): Clearwater (16.1%), Red Lake (12.8%), and Marshall (11.8%).

On the hand, the following three counties were among those with low unemployment rates (nsa): Rock (3.8%), Lake of the Woods (4%), and Wilkin (4.1%).
