According to data from the US BLS, the unemployment rate of Minnesota was 4.7% (sa) in September, 2007. Among all Minnesota counties, these 3 were among those with high unemployment rates (nsa): Mille Lacs (6.6%), Kanabec (6.3%), and Itasca (6.1%).

On the hand, the following three counties were among those with low unemployment rates (nsa): Wilkin (2.6%), Clay (2.7%), and Murray (3%).
