According to data from the US BLS, the unemployment rate of Minnesota was 6.9% (sa) in January, 2011. Among all Minnesota counties, these 3 were among those with high unemployment rates (nsa): Clearwater (16.4%), Cass (13.7%), and Kanabec (13.4%).

On the hand, the following three counties were among those with low unemployment rates (nsa): Rock (5.1%), Lake of the Woods (5.7%), and Nicollet (5.9%).
