According to data from the US BLS, the unemployment rate of Nevada was 4.4% (sa) in July, 2004. Among all Nevada counties, these 3 were among those with high unemployment rates (nsa): Esmeralda (6.3%), Lincoln (6.2%), and Nye (6%).

On the hand, the following three counties were among those with low unemployment rates (nsa): Storey (3%), White Pine (3.7%), and Elko (3.9%).
