According to data from the US BLS, the unemployment rate of Nevada was 13.5% (sa) in March, 2011. Among all Nevada counties, these 3 were among those with high unemployment rates (nsa): Lyon (18.4%), Storey (17.4%), and Nye (17.1%).

On the hand, the following three counties were among those with low unemployment rates (nsa): Elko (8%), Eureka (8.2%), and Esmeralda (8.4%).
