According to data from the US BLS, the unemployment rate of New Jersey was 4.3% (sa) in June, 2005. Among all New Jersey counties, these 3 were among those with high unemployment rates (nsa): Cumberland (5.7%), Essex (5.5%), and Hudson (5.5%).

On the hand, the following three counties were among those with low unemployment rates (nsa): Hunterdon (3%), Morris (3.2%), and Somerset (3.4%).
