According to data from the US BLS, the unemployment rate of New Jersey was 4.2% (sa) in July, 2007. Among all New Jersey counties, these 3 were among those with high unemployment rates (nsa): Cumberland (6.8%), Atlantic (6%), and Passaic (6%).

On the hand, the following three counties were among those with low unemployment rates (nsa): Hunterdon (3.2%), Morris (3.4%), and Somerset (3.5%).
