According to data from the US BLS, the unemployment rate of New Jersey was 4.3% (sa) in October, 2007. Among all New Jersey counties, these 3 were among those with high unemployment rates (nsa): Cumberland (5.6%), Atlantic (5.3%), and Cape May (5.2%).

On the hand, the following three counties were among those with low unemployment rates (nsa): Hunterdon (2.4%), Somerset (2.7%), and Morris (2.7%).
