According to data from the US BLS, the unemployment rate of New Jersey was 10% (sa) in December, 2009. Among all New Jersey counties, these 3 were among those with high unemployment rates (nsa): Cape May (15.7%), Cumberland (14.2%), and Atlantic (13.6%).

On the hand, the following three counties were among those with low unemployment rates (nsa): Hunterdon (7%), Morris (7.3%), and Somerset (7.4%).
