According to data from the US BLS, the unemployment rate of New Jersey was 9.9% (sa) in November, 2009. Among all New Jersey counties, these 3 were among those with high unemployment rates (nsa): Cape May (14.1%), Cumberland (13.4%), and Atlantic (12.9%).

On the hand, the following three counties were among those with low unemployment rates (nsa): Hunterdon (6.9%), Morris (7.3%), and Somerset (7.4%).
