According to data from the US BLS, the unemployment rate of New Jersey was 9.5% (sa) in September, 2012. Among all New Jersey counties, these 3 were among those with high unemployment rates (nsa): Cumberland (12.7%), Atlantic (12.1%), and Salem (11.8%).

On the hand, the following three counties were among those with low unemployment rates (nsa): Hunterdon (6.7%), Morris (7%), and Somerset (7.4%).
