According to data from the US BLS, the unemployment rate of New Jersey was 8.3% (sa) in August, 2013. Among all New Jersey counties, these 3 were among those with high unemployment rates (nsa): Cumberland (12%), Atlantic (11%), and Salem (10.4%).

On the hand, the following three counties were among those with low unemployment rates (nsa): Hunterdon (5.9%), Morris (6.2%), and Somerset (6.5%).
