According to data from the US BLS, the unemployment rate of New Jersey was 8.4% (sa) in July, 2013. Among all New Jersey counties, these 3 were among those with high unemployment rates (nsa): Cumberland (12.4%), Atlantic (11.5%), and Salem (11.1%).

On the hand, the following three counties were among those with low unemployment rates (nsa): Hunterdon (6.4%), Morris (6.7%), and Somerset (7%).
