According to data from the US BLS, the unemployment rate of New Jersey was 5% (sa) in August, 2016. Among all New Jersey counties, these 3 were among those with high unemployment rates (nsa): Cumberland (7.4%), Atlantic (6.6%), and Salem (6.5%).

On the hand, the following three counties were among those with low unemployment rates (nsa): Hunterdon (3.9%), Morris (4%), and Somerset (4.2%).
