According to data from the US BLS, the unemployment rate of New Jersey was 4.7% (sa) in December, 2016. Among all New Jersey counties, these 3 were among those with high unemployment rates (nsa): Cape May (12.2%), Atlantic (7.5%), and Cumberland (6.8%).

On the hand, the following three counties were among those with low unemployment rates (nsa): Hunterdon (3.2%), Morris (3.3%), and Somerset (3.5%).
